Mike Ackerman

Mike Ackerman is a New York-based playwright and screenwriter. Mike is the Grand Prize and First Place Feature winner of the 2023 Slamdance Screenplay Competition for THIS END UP. Most recently, he wrote and directed GINA & TINA & JENNIFUH GO A-STEALIN' at Caveat NYC. Mike's other credits include AFTER (Dean Productions Theater), THE GWYNETH PALTROW SKI TRIAL (Caveat NYC), THE CLIFF WALK (2020 Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards Finalist), and ROCKABYE (2019 Story Pros International Screenplay Contest Runner-Up). Mike holds a BA in Film from Vassar College and an MSW from Fordham University.
